Information and answers about the Theodore Case and Catholic education in Saskatchewan
Help us keep catholic education open for Saskatchewan families
If you’re open to Catholic education, our doors are open to you.
Today, Catholic education is open to any family who wants a Catholic, faith-based education for their kids.
We believe it should stay that way.
Our system has been in place in excess of 100 years. The choice option has been there and it’s worked well. We’ve built our infrastructure around that. We’ve built neighbourhoods around that type of school system. We would use the notwithstanding clause on an ongoing basis to ensure that those choices remained.- Hon. Don Morgan, Minister of Education (April 2017)
Who we are
Open Catholic Education is an initiative sponsored by the Saskatchewan Catholic School Boards Association and endorsed by Saskatchewan's eight Catholic school divisions that provide welcoming and nurturing learning environments for more than 40,000 children across the province.
